Grey's Anatomy Season Opener ***Spoilers***

Is it possible no one opened up a thread to discuss the new season of Grey's Anatomy?

Did anyone see it?

Yes. Bawled my head off the whole first hour . . . got myself together for most of the second hour and then lost it again at the end when Meredith finally let it out and that last line of Christina's . . . "Oh my God. George O'Malley died."

I'm not sure how much I am going to like this "merger with Mercy West" thing . . . going between hospitals and all. It'll take some getting used to especially once the "new faces" start to show up.

Christina always gets me when she shows her emotions. That was SO sad! Not as sad as the wedding dress scene, but close.

The merger story line made me nervous, because all this economy stuff is scary stuff in real life.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I used to really like that show, but I couldn't even get myself to turn on the tv last night. Missed Survivor and Grey's. Somebody take my temperature!

OMG I cried for almost the entire show . I thought it was just so sad, but well done. It was interesting to see how each character dealt with George's death. I hope the rest of the season is as good.

You'd better watch yourself or you'll lose your seat on the couch potato committee!

I like how they showed how everyone was dealing with George's death over like a month's time or more. That way we can see how they all deal over time and it won't seem so unreal when they move on in their lives a little quicker for TV time.

Yeah. I really felt so bad for Bailey.
