Toy Story/Toy Story 3d - question!

Does anyone know if you have to (or can) purchase tickets ahead of time for this? I was looking around online earlier and can find it playing nearby, but can't figure out how/when to get tickets.
TIA!

Anyone else planning on going? I'm hoping to go!

I think it may depend on your local movie theatre's participation with sites like Fandango...

You might want to check this site to see if they participate:
Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D Double Feature Movie Times

I think Moviefone is another service, but we haven't used them (just Fandango.)

I'd love to go see this, but I have visual problems watching 3D and could never make it through a double-feature without being sick for the rest of the weekend...

Thanks. I did check out Fandango, but it says times are not yet available in my area, although I know some website I was on yesterday linked me to the local theater and it had show times. Think maybe I'll call and see what I can find out (maybe an automated message).

I'm trying to get DH to take me but so far he said, "no way!" Booo! I think the double feature may be too much for him. I might have to ask my cousin to go w/ me. wish me luck because I really want to see it.

I got the same message about "no times available yet" for our local theatre when I looked online, so I just went and asked if they were selling them yet, and bought them in person (last Saturday). DH2B and I are going tomorrow night for his birthday! We can't wait - we both love these movies!

My DH and I couldn't get any results on the phone (DH won't buy things online), so I went on Tuesday to the local theater and got them in person. We are going on Monday the 5th also! So excited!

I got our tickets via Moviefone (on-line) and we're going on Sunday the 4th at noon! I can't wait!!

BTW, I heard that you shouldn't go to the bathroom in between films...because they'll be showing special things on-screen....

We saw it tonight! It was so much fun and real cool in 3D! (the 3D glasses were so heavy though. They hurt my nose after a while! ) And yes during the 10 min. intermission they do show some special things, but I don't want to say what as I don't want to spoil it for everyone else!

You know what I didn't think of until just now... will I be able to put the 3D glasses on over my glasses? I don't have contacts and I won't be able to see a thing without my glasses.
