| Close Encounters Question Has anyone seen it recently? My older two kids have been wanting to see a "scary" movie. I've heard that this one wasn't that bad. But my question is, is there any nudity, or sensual scenes they shouldn't see? We watched "The Birds" a few weeks ago, because this movie was creepy to me when I was a kid (by the way it still is). They complained that there was nothing scary or creepy about it until the end of the movie when the flocks attack. They then got scared and we all curled up on the couch. We are having fun with it now because of the big flocks of birds flying over. Before anyone flips out over this. My kids love to be scared and see scary fun things. We take them to all kinds of creepy scary things for kids and they love it. Plus, Halloween is one of our favorite holiday's! So, I'm not trying to warp my kids, as someone tried to tell me on Tower of Terror when we went through the queue area. They weren't even going to ride, they followed me in to see the themeing. So, back to the original question before I started to ramble. Does anyone know of anything inappropriate for the kids to see in the movie? Thanks, Michael

| I agree with Jim. Alien would be a much better choice if you're going for pure "scare" factor. And there's no nudity in it. Plus, it's kind of "female-empowering," watching a woman fight scary aliens! Another option might by Signs, by M. Night Shyamalan. I'm an adult, and it still gives me the creeps, but again, has a positive ending, and no sexy stuff! Close Encounters is kind of a "thinking-man's" alien movie, with a possibly feel-good scenario-ending. I remember being pretty bored with it.
