Marcy and Ron – goofysdtr, whoSEZ, Joanne929, mitchg 4. Zev and Justin – RogerRabbit, MinnieJen, Angileyze1 5. Lance and Keri - lauren-rox, B.M., Luvsun 6. Mika and Canaan – Stitch, DoraDoug, bonphil 7. Maria and Tiffany - Lorraine515, think*tink, olendl01, DawnK The trams started by heading to Amsterdam. They have to drive themselves to a Monument. At the Airport the teams all met up and sat chit chatting. Sam and Dan came out to the other teams. When they got to Amsterdam Brian and Ericka fell behind because Brian could get the car in Drive. The Monument is on a dam from there they drive to another town and find the highest building in that town. ![]() One team member has to climb the stirs and count all the bells in the tower (62 in all) give the number to the "bell ringer/ organist" for the next clue. then they have to drive to yet another town and find the Wind Mill for the next clue. Farmers Game or Farmers Dance All teams must first dress in traditional Dutch clothing and ride bikes to their destination. Farmers Game: Ride to a creek strip down to Dutch undies and swim across it to course and play Farmers golf (this looked like a cross between golf and croquet the clubs had Dutch shoes as the club heads and balls looked like bigger croquet balls with a soccer ball pattern on them.) They have to do 3 holes and they had 8 shots each hole. If they didn't finish in that then they had to start over. Farmers Dance: Ride to a barn one member must hit a bell Strong man style then they learn a traditional dance after if done correctly they are given a sea salted herring to eat. After eating the fish the get the clue. Meghan and Cheyne, Sam and Dan, did the golf to star and finished it. Herbert and Nathaniel, Gary and Matt,. Maria and Tiffany, Brian and Ericka Started the dance. Herbert and Nathaniel and Brian and Ericka finished the dance. Brian and Ericka didn't ride the bikes they missed that part of the clue and had walked it. They borrowed bikes from campers to ride to the pit stop. Gary and Matt started the dance but when Matt found out about the fish the left Matt doesn't eat fish. The switched to the golf and had an easier time at it. Maria and Tiffany tried to hit the bell but could not so they switch to the golf and couldn't do that either and went back to the dance. They tried 71 times to hit the bell but no go so they went back to the golf. ![]() At the pit stop Brian and Ericka had a 30 min penalty for not riding the bikes. Ericka was almost in tears over this. I have to say Brine was the best husband we have seen yet. the whole time they were behind he didn't get mad and yell at her. In the end The 30 min penalty was up before Tiffany and Maria got to the pit stop. The Phil had to go to them, Them had to give up, they were too cold to finish the challenge,You can say they knew when to fold. Next week they have a "Blast" in Sweden and an old challenge comes back that will separate the Girls from the women and boys from the men. Till then oil your Dutch shoes so the shine and keep your herring salted my racing peeps.

| Finally - the poker girls had gotten way too many breaks, it was time for them to go home. I was hoping 2 teams would be eliminated, Brian and Ericka really need to go home too. They'll go home next week, and then it's anyone's race.

| I loved this episode. It had some really great high moments and a lot of low moments. It's the first episode where people have really been challenged. And it was in the Netherlands!

| I missed most of the preview next week. All I saw was a big round haybale. Is the old challenge that comes back the one where they had to unroll the haybale looking for a clue???? Man, I remember that one team that unrolled I don't know how many of those things and never found the clue and quit the race. That was sad!

| It was so funny - Stitch and I were saying that the girsl doing the golf reminded us of that horrible hay bale challenge. Then - coming next week - we go back to the hay bale challenge! I thought Brian handled it really well when Ericka kept freaking out during the bell challenge. ![]()

| I will never understand why people do not read those clues CAREFULLY! We have seen so many teams complete tasks incorrectly because they fail to read the clue! Brian and Ericka are the latest in a string of "sloppy clue readers" and that drives me crazy!!

| I knew it was just a matter of time till Maria and Tiffany were eliminated. As far as some of these teams not reading clues carefully, I suppose because it's a competition and they're in too much of a hurry to advance. And also not wanting to be eliminated to make sure they're not the last to arrive. Even though, time is a big factor, since there are teams of two, you need to be careful of what you do and think everything through, read things carefully and to know exactly what you have to do. There's a million dollars at stake so I think it would be quite worth it to make sure about everything. Well at least my team, Herbert and Nathaniel are still holding in there. Should be interesting with the hay bales next week. I remember that one from a few years ago. Whoever has the least patience, will probably fail on that one. We'll see.

| I agree with much of what's already been said. Maria and Tiffany have had so many lucky breaks, It was bound to catch up with them sooner or later. And Brian has got to be the most mellow husband in America (or the Netherlands, I suppose). I was amazed at how calm he stayed when they were last at the bell tower and sitting out the time penalty. Swimming the creek in long undies didn't look like much fun. Watching the show you could see the sky get darker and the wind pick up throughout the day. That challenge was definately harder for the later teams. It was fun to see "our boys" finish first, but I think the Globetrotters are my favorite team. They're competitors, but are having such fun on the race. DH and I had been chatting during a commercial about the hay bale challenge -- so we laughed to see it show up in the previews for next week. That could mix everything up.
