Remake of True Grit in the works...

....I think I may cry. Personally I don't think this is a good idea. Not to say they won't do a good job, but you just don't mess with The Duke.

no way! nobody replaces the Duke! it was bad enough when they tried to remake The Lone Ranger--with a man who was afraid of horses! It time they stopped this nonsense.

Why would they even bother? Makes no sense to me...Remake the ones that were bad to begin with, not the classic movies we all know and love.

Only problem with this is - if they were bad to begin with - would the remakes be any better?? Only if it was the acting and directing that was bad and not the story itself.
