| V the show, *possible spoilers* I have to say I wasn't looking forward to this. At the last minute I just flipped the channel and it was on. I know there was some V show back in the 80s (I think) And it seemed pretty boring from what little i've seen of it. But, this was a really cool show! I'm hoping it's an ongoing show and not just a mini series. There was a good amount of action mixed in with the drama which kept me entertained. It kind of reminds me of the movie, They Live, with the aliens being on earth and a group of underground "freedom fighters" trying to get rid of them. What did you think of it?

| DBF and I really enjoyed it. We have been looking forward to it since we both were big fans of the original miniseries. We really enjoyed how they reinterpreted the series.

| I am so mad I forgot all about it being on. I was able to DVR the last half hour. Hopefully I can watch it tonight. Glad to hear it was pretty good

| DH remembers the miniseries; I don't. He was looking forward to the show last night and seemed to enjoy the first episode. I guess we'll see whether they keep the storyline going for a series-length run.

| DH and I watched last nights epi and thought it was pretty good. I will keep watching to see where it goes, however, ABC is only showing 4 epis this month and then it goes on hiatus until March 2010. Nothing like a buzz kill to have to wait 4 months to see a show that only aired 4 epis. ABC loves to shoot themselves in the foot ALOT! |

| Yep, that hiatus is going to be interesting. Of course, if the show bombs this month, then it won't be a problem. DW and I watched it last night; it was a decent reimagining of the original series. Nothing that was knock-your-socks-off good, but it was of workmanlike quality. We'll keep watching and decide week-by-week whether it's worth our time.

| I think it was in 82 or 83. I saw the old one rerun on another channel and checked the year.

| Another here who really liked it (although maybe they could have kept the "secret" a little while longer of the V's actually being scaly aliens). I liked the lead actress (where have I seen her before?). |

Another thought - if the "lead actress" you're talking about isn't Anna, ![]() the head V, are you talking about the blonde FBI agent? ![]() If so, that's Juliet, from LOST.
