8. Gary and Matt – FanOfMickey, LilMarcieMouse, Shell of the South

The Teams head off to Tallinn, Estonia. The had to take a ferry and it didn't depart till 5:45 pm so all the teams were on the same one. When they got there they had to find Mustpeade, The House of the Brotherhood of the Black Heads ( an association of unmarried merchants and ship owners). They were Given 10 keys and they had to find the one that opened the door.

Road Block: 1 person will join the ranks by going into the basement and getting a candelabra with a room number on it. Then find the room to get a "blank" Scroll. They have to figure out to hold the scroll up to the candle and the next clue will appear.

Matt and Gary had to do the Speed Bump before the road block. They had to find the Sauna Bus. Strip and sit in the Sauna for 5 min. then they could carry on.

Most of the teams got the clue by luck, Flight time tried to rub the scroll with a crayon to get it. Finally he held it over the candle and got it. When Matt did the challenge he did know what a candelabra was but finally found it. He too tried to rub his scroll but then got the clue.

The Scroll said: Pikk Hermon Tower Garden.

Surf: Teams had to play Volleyball in a boggy mud field for 5 points to win.

Sling:Use sling shots to hit a Moose sign that will drop cabbages and the clue.

Meghan and Cheyne, Sam and Dan, and Herbert and Nathaniel did the Volleyball.

Brian and Ericka and Gary and Matt Did the Sling Shot.

From there they had to run to a tower there in the bog to meet with Phil.

Sam and Dan, and Herbert and Nathaniel ran together (Sort Of) Sam and Dan said that Flight time hit one of them from behind. I couldn't tell what happened. It's a fund that will go to the end I'm sure.

So Poor Matt and Gary got eliminated, so Now I am rooting for the Trotters.

Next week it's game on as Sam and Dan get dirty. It a fight for the finale 3.

So till then My Racing peeps climb on that sauna bus and relax.

I liked Gary and Matt and will be sad to see them go.
The way they edit the show it's hard to have a sense of real time. So I don't know how long it took Matt to figure out what he was looking for. But it was funny to watch my 9 year old yelling at the TV: "It's a candleholder! It's a candleholder!"

I was sorry to see Gary & Matt go, too. I can see where Sam & Dan think that the Globetrotters tried to take them out, but I don't think it was intentional.

Personally, I do not get Sam and Dan's beef with the Globetrotters. Those two have more fun than any contestants I can think of in recent memory, and they seem personable and likable. Sure, they have used some gameplay, but who hasn't? I really like Flight Time and Big Easy!

I think part of the issue with the Globetrotters is what was raised in an earlier thread. Those guys are professional athletes, competing against normal folks, and it does give them an advantage that doesn't seem fair.
For mental challenges they don't necessarily have an edge. But the closer we get to the end of the race, the more likely it is that a leg comes down to a footrace. We've all seen it before. And look at this week -- the Trotters were going the wrong way, turned around and were still almost able to take Sam and Dan.
I think I'd have a chip on my shoulder, too, if I had a couple of pro athletes to compete against.

And does anyone else think the Karma Fairies are going to come back to haunt Megan and Cheynne? Hopping into a taxi while telling the driver "call one for these guys" so the other team hears, and as soon as the door closes saying "don't call"

I really don't like the attitudes the brothers have shown the last few episodes. I hope Flight Time & Big Easy go all the way!

I think the brothers are just trying to take out the team that they believe is their biggest competition. Go Flight Time and Big Easy

I read an interview on TVGuide.com this morning that said they got to the mat 7 minutes behind Brian and Ericka, so they weren't too far behind the other teams. They also said the Speed Bump took them about 20 minutes.

I sure hope the brothers get eliminated next - I'm tired of their whining.

Glad my Globetrotters are still in there. It's starting to get interesting now. I liked Sam and Dan the first few weeks, but now they're complaining and playing a bit dirty now.

I am sorry to see my team go, I really liked them. Though I do love the Globetrotters too. I just love their attitudes and how they are really having a lot of fun while playing. The brothers I wish would stop whining, it's not like they have not won a few times themselves, geez.

Cheynne and Megan bug me for some reason, something about them I just don't like. I definetely do not like how they said call a cab and then don't call a cab.
