Finished #17 - Savannah Comes Undone by Denise Hildreth. Yep, it's the sequel to the other Savannah book I read and since I didn't like that one I'm not entirely sure why I thought I would like this one. It wasn't any different. Note to self, STOP with the Savannah books.
#42 The Breath of the Rose - Andrea H Japp
#43 The Power - Rhonda Byrne
#44 Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist - Michael J Fox
#45 The Hiding House - Malcolm Richards
#46 Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Seth Grahame-Smith
#47 The Dumas Club - Arturo Perez Reverte
#48 The Herring in the Library - LC Tyler
#49 The Divine Blood - Andrea H Japp
To summarise:
* #42 and #49 are the completion of a historical fiction trilogy which I started last year - I enjoyed it and sailed through it really quickly
* #45 was rather 'meh'
* #43 and #44 were very inspiring and motivational (The Power is a continuation of The Secret and I found it to be very refreshing in terms of how I view life)
* #46 is a movie now, though is said to be quite different to the book - I did enjoy the book so won't risk ruining that by watching the movie (had that disappointment too many times before!)
* #47 is what the Johnny Depp movie 'The Ninth Gate' is based on - I didn't get the ending of the film and thought the book might explain more, but TBH it didn't
* #48 Latest book club murder mystery - I was disappointed with the ending but won't say why in case anyone wants to try it..!
Aargh - I'm still two books behind schedule...need to start on some short ones methinks!!

Tinkerboo Bring on Reading Challenge 2013 - 29/100 so far!
I've been away from the boards for a while, and I just stumbled across this post. I love this post! It helps me figure out what I'm going to read next. My goal for 2012 is 100, but I am including the books I read with my kids and for work. I'm on book #44. I won't list them all, but right now I'm reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
Finished #18 - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling. (I decided to re-read the whole series since my family is doing HP costumes for our trip to MNSSHP this fall. )
