Homeland

I don't recall seeing any discussion of Homeland (which I think has been showing on Showcase?) on here, but we're loving it in our house. It's certainly packed with twists and turns, and you never know where it's going to go next.... just as soon as you think you can predict it, you're proved wrong.

I'm loving the acting from both Claire Danes and Damien Lewis and I'm not surprised at all to find out that the show won two Golden Globes.

We are some episodes behind - we're at the episode (eight I think) where they're looking for Walker and he's in the forest and kills someone and we learn about Brady's time in captivity, teaching English to Isha, so if please don't give anything away that happens after that!

I enjoyed Homeland besides The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad its was my favorite show. I don't want to spoil anything but the last 4 episodes are very intense and I felt like the Season finale found a nice balance between paying off on all the tension built up and yet still leaving room for a Season 2.

I will say that I don't see this series lasting to long it just does not feel like a series that you can drag on for 5+ season. I would rather get 2-4 strong season. But yeah its nice to meet another Homeland fan.

Here in the US, it's on Showtime, a pay channel, and I don't have it. I'm hoping it will be out on DVD so I can see it. I LOOOOVE Damien Lewis! Sure wish I could head to Charlotte (aobut 3 hrs form my house) to see some filming!

My boss watches it, and she says it's a great show.

I live about 30 minutes from Charlotte myself and have been tempted to go see the shooting as well.

We enjoy it in our house! I agree that the last 3 or 4 episodes are really intense! I mean, like the kind of intense where you hope and pray that nothing interrupts you or you don't need to get up from the couch for anything because you just do NOT want to have to pause the DVR or miss a second. )
