Whew! I was almost in tears thinking Kentucky was going home!!
They DID finish all legs of the race, so no penalty worries....
But- I agree that his "winning" dance looked no better than the others.... I also feel this was a last minute decision to let this be a non elimination day.... but, I'm glad because I'm SOOOO rooting for team Kentucky!
I noticed that both Mark and Bopper were 100% ready to just head on from the dance.... then it shows them giving it another go after they had alread started to take off the outfit.... I actually personally think the "staff/crew" encouraged them and maybe without saying led them to believe this may be a non elimination round so that they would finish the challenge.... and I also think the choreogropher was told to just pass them through..... I say all this because 1) the sudden attitude change to go ahead and give the dance another try and being let through even though the dance was still off and 2) Kentucky did NOT seem surprised to me that it was a non elimination round..... while I don't think they were told flat out, I think they were led to suspect it..... Just because they were not surprised however, I DEFINATELY know they felt thankful!
I want this team to win SOOO badly! I was soo rooting for the snowboarders last year and they got out and the year before that I wanted the cowboys to win so badly and they got out..... Now, I'm really dying for Mark and Bopper to take home some big bucks! I sure hope they can pull through.... I've been worried ever since the knee injury.....
Hair shaving- I actually don't remember a season with shaving heads!?! I don't know if I've just forgotten or if I didn't watch that season? But I think it sounds REALLY interesting and would love to see Rachael shave her hair:LOL. I agree it's hair and it grows back; but honestly I don't know that I would shave my hair for a *chance* of a million bucks. I would shave it FOR a million bucks, but not for just a chance at it..... JMPO.
Thye done the head shaving on tow seasons, but both times it was a Fast Forward, so thye ahd the option to do it or not. First was a young couple who were both models. The girl wouldn;t do it becasue of her job (she had way long blonde hair).
The second was the couple who wnated the money to adopt, Chip and I can't remember his wife's name. She did it (Chip was already bald!), and they ended up winning the million. I think that was Rob and Amber's first season? I remember at the end, Chip didn't have enough money to pay the cab driver and (according to the editing) they almost got passed on the way to the final mat. If memory serves, he finally struck a deal w/ the cab driver to pay him the rest once he won the million, LOL.
