The team must head to Cochin, India. They stop to use computers and get tickets, when Art & JJ get there they give Rachel & Dave the cold shoulder. Everyone but Vanessa & Ralph get on the same flight. Once in India the must take a bus to Sacred Heart Collage in Thevara.
One team member must learn a Bollywood dance and audition for the director. If done right they will get the clue.
Rachel, JJ, Rachel, Vanessa, Mark
Now they must take an auto rickshaw to the Indian Coffee house and get the clue from the head waiter.
Cricket: both team members have to hit a ball past a professional player to the boundary.
Brandon & Rachel, Art & JJ
Clutch It: teams have to learn how to drive a Rickshaw and drive people around a training course.
Rachel & Dave, Vanessa & Ralph
Now they must make their way to Bolgatty Palace for the pit stop.
At the Road block Bopper keep trying to get Mark to stop but he wouldn’t then after 11 tries he decided he couldn’t go on but his coach would not let him quite, Mark gave it one more try and got the clue. They make to the pit stop to be told they are the last to arrive. Phil is quiet and Bopper and Mark say a few words then Phil tells them that it is a non elimination leg. They have a seep bump but still have a chance.
Next week Rachel cry’s over hair extensions and Vanessa falls and goes pop.
So till then learn some Bollywood my racing peeps.
This time I REALLY wonder if the non-elimination was a last minute decision, knowing how people like Bopper & Mark more than the others?
Glad they weren't eliminated, though. Feeling hopeful Rachel will snap and quit next week!

I really thought the non-elimination would be in next week's episode. I'm glad that Mark finished the Detour, but gosh, that looked painful for him.
While I think Dave and Rachel are the ones to beat.....they may have put some bad karma on their backs by saying it out loud themselves at the end of the episode.
Those bus rides looked a bit scary. Fast, loud, smelly....
They did not mention it, but I'm assuming that Mark & Bopper will have the 2-hr penalty for not completing the Detour added to their start time next leg. Isn't that the right amount of time for skipping a task?

My husband said the same thing. He's often thought that some of the non-elimination legs are "discretionary" on the part of the producers.
And did anyone else notice that the final dance, where he got the clue, wasn't really any more in time than the earlier ones where the director said no?

They showed it really briefly -- a quick shot of Bopper driving and peering out the rickshaw window. Apparently not as dramatic as the dancing
I agree that it was a last min decision not to have them eliminated. They need the money. We are all cheering them on, and I think it was a classy act to do that. I believe they were given the dance routine but it couldn't have happened to a better team. They did do the Rickshaw.
Looks like Rachel may not have any more hair to worry about. I don't like it when they do the repeat things like this. Remember waaaay back when that one poor woman had to have it done. They were trying to win so they could adopt. I don't like it when they do this.
Oh gosh. Really? I obviously didn't pay enough attention at the end of the show. I thought they'd never ever do the shave the head thing again. What a terrible choice. The woman who did it before with her husband, actually looked good thankfully for her. Not looking forward to that, if that is the case next week.

Hair grows back for a chance at a million I would shave my head without hesitation.

I'm with Marcy on that one. I'd go bald for a million bucks. Heck, lots of people aren't really given a choice on the hair thing.
But loved the promo "I spent $500 on hair extensions!!" Really? Before going on a reality show where you'll be doing who-knows-what? Ditz!

YES! It didn't look any different than the other 11 or 12 dances he did! I agree it seemed like a last minute decision to be an non elimination round. They are fan favorites and they need the money. I forget which one's which but Bopper looked awful. I felt so bad for him he was dying because of the heat! His outfit was drenched with sweat!
