| Looking for old movie I do more reading than posting around here but I have a riddle I can't solve. Since this concerns a Disney movie I thought "Hey! Passporters may help." So here goes.
The only scene I remember is of a dog (white-ish? scruffy? smallish?) running beside a steam train as it carries somebody away. This is set in the west somewhere and "Get Along Little Doggie" is playing in the background. The Narrator who did so many of the live action animal movies may have had a part here but I can't, quite, remember.
I would have seen this on Wonderful World of Disney in the '70s but it probably came out earlier. Color? Black and White? Don't know.
Not much to go on but I would appreciate any help. This scene pops into my head on a semi-regular basis and I am rather curious.
Thanks! |

| List of Disney made for TV movies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
You might start by looking at this list and see if any of the movie titles seem familiar.
It doesn't sound familiar to me, but there were a lot of WWoD movies made. I can think of several movies with dogs, but none out west. Hmm? |

| To me that sounds like the movie "The Journey of Natty Gann" but I don't remember offhand if this was a Disney movie or not. And the dog wasn't a dog, "he's a wolf" (someome commented on it and that was her answer). Tt didn't come out in the 70's though - it came out in the early 80's so it may not even be the same thing. |

| Thank you both. I believe I was fairly young when I watched it so all I have are impressions. Inconvenient
HiddenMickey, that is a good list. Nothing jumped out right away although some had possibilities.
CinderAbby, I remember watching The Journey of Natty Gann and don't believe that was it. I may have to check it out though. And yes, it was Disney. |
