| Problems with certain Disney DVD\'s... I have had problems with my copies of Atlantis and Peter Pan. When receiving new copies of the said titles, I still have problems. Seemingly the DVD's won't "play." Has anyone else had similar problems? Is there any way to troubleshoot this? The DS manager said that this was "quite common," but could not offer any tips/suggestions. Anyone out there a DVD whiz? I would LOVE some help. Thanks in advance! | Re: Problems with certain Disney DVD\'s... We had the exact same problem with Tarzan. Everytime we put the disc in, it would tell us it was unreadable. The DVD player we had was a cheaper GE model we bought a Walmart. Before long, it started doing this to us on all Disney movies we would buy or rent. DH got so frusterated we went to look for a new one. THe salesman at Walmart said that the GE brands had this problem & suggested an RCA...we have had it for 2 years now without a problem... I'm sure this didn't answer your question, but this was our experience. |

| Re: Problems with certain Disney DVD\'s... Marcie, Thanks soooo much for the advice. I will have my Dh try to set everything up and see what happens. Michelle P.S. mom2mudmonster, Wow! I had never heard such a thing about certain brands not working properly. Ours is a Magnavox. Hmm... |

| Re: Problems with certain Disney DVD\'s... No problem here with our 8 Disney DVD's. Our player is a Samsung combination DVC/VCR unit. Whoops, did I say a DVC/VCR unit? I meant DVD/VCR unit. What was I thinking of? [ 09-06-2002, 03:56 PM: Message edited by: Disnydad ] |
