FAME!

Watched this last night and wow, where did they get these people? Very poor selection of talent - anyone watching?

Re: FAME!

I've tried to watch this show a couple of times but I just can't get into it. I agree that the talent stinks.

Re: FAME!

I watched some of the first night's show when they were doing their searchs in the various cities. Then, I caught a couple people singing the other night. Turned the channel pretty quickly.

When I first heard about it, I thought that they were going to find a new cast of unknowns for a remake of the Fame TV show. I think that would have been better than the "talent" show they are holding. -HiddenMickey

Re: FAME!

Yup, it stinks. I tried to get into it with my "I need more American Idol" fix, but man, it stinks. I also thought I would try it since Joey Fatone is one of the hosts. Nope, that didn't help either.

The talent is so weak and I do also question where did they find these people. However, there was a young guy like two weeks ago who was pretty good. I just wish his talent was displayed somewhere other than that show.

Re: FAME!

I watch it sometimes but have to agree that the talent isn't that good. Although I may tune in to the next one because they are adding someone brand new to the mix who hasn't had to go through all of the shows before this and the other contentestants are ticked about that. That alone could prove to be interesting.

Re: FAME!

I've watched it a couple of times and I didn't think they were on par with AI (or even the Kids version of AI) but there is one woman I really like and the Asian guy is a great dancer.

Of course I have no idea what their names are.
