8pm, Tuesday, The lights dim on Broadway... in honor of Katharine Hepburn, who passed away at her home in Old Saybrook, CT today at 2:30 pm. She was 96 years old. We have lost another of the great ones. I admire her more than I can say.

Re: 8pm, Tuesday, The lights dim on Broadway... Say it isn't so!! She was such a fabulous actress and a wonderful, strong, daring woman. I adored her in "Bringing Up Baby", and she was so amazing in "Adam's Rib" and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". Another hero of mine gone.

Re: 8pm, Tuesday, The lights dim on Broadway... I just watched her neice's interview with Larry King. I learned so much about her that I didn't know. I have always admired her. What a lady. She will be missed.

Re: 8pm, Tuesday, The lights dim on Broadway... Audrey Hepburn and now Katherine Hepburn. Two of the best, we were lucky to have them. I can understand dimming the lights on Broadway, but what is the significance of 8pm on Tuesday?

Re: 8pm, Tuesday, The lights dim on Broadway... If I know my theater correctly, I believe there are matinee's on sunday, and Broadway is 'dark' Monday (no shows performed). Tuesday would be the first day that they could give such a tribute. Most shows are also either starting or have started around 8pm too. Another great has passed. I only hope that our current 'pool of talent' can rise to the heights of talent and class that the Golden Age of Hollywood produced. Don't you wish Kate, Audrey, Gregory, and the like could have lived forever? Linda
