Cheaper by the Dozen DVD

My DD bought this DVD yesterday, and we watched it last night. I thought it was a pretty cute movie. But as a fan of the original Cheaper by the Dozen book, I think they should have named this movie something else. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Gilbreath family depicted in the original book except both families have 12 children. And the movie was a little sad to me.

But, it is still a good family movie, and I always love Steve Martin. And I really enjoyed the way that Ashton Kucher could poke fun of himself through his character - an actor who knows he gets jobs strictly on his good looks!

Anyone else got the DVD yet?

I bought it to put in DD's Easter basket. It looks like a cute movie!

Re: Cheaper by the Dozen DVD

We saw this last weekend and frankly thought it was awful. I remember the original book and movie which I loved. This one was just chaos and the kids were monsters,IMO
