Team America: World Police

No, I haven't seen this one and don't plan to until it comes on video. But I just figured I'd put out a warning for those who don't realize:

THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE!

Just because it's done with puppets, you might think you can take the kids to see it, but don't. This is a product of Matt Parker and Trey Stone, the guys behind South Park; it's going to be rude, crude, and sophmoric.

Ever seen South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut? Team America will be similarly filled with language and adult humor that is not appropriate for kids.

DH and I almost saw this last weekend but opted for Friday Night Lights instead. We are both HUGE fans of South Park, but it is definitely NOT for kids. Good warning WillCAD!

Yes, it is NOT for kids, but it is a really hilarious movie! We saw it Sunday night and were cracking up through the whole thing.

I'm all for funny movies, but this one looks just plain dumb. I don't know, maybe it's worth seeing, but I will definitely wait to rent it. Plus, those little dummies scare the crap out of me

Jennifer I'm so glad to hear you liked it. One of the guys I work with told me he saw it and loved it, and that I should definitely see it. I have an off-beat sense of humor.

I've heard it's funny. My dad wanted to see it because it reminded him of Thunderbirds..

Oh, definitely not dumb! There's a dumb air about it, but it's a dumb comedy for smart people! It's so wildly hilarious and cuts in to the cliches of Hollywood blockbusters so hard that a LOT of it will go over the heads of the target audience. If you are not easily offended, go see this!
