| Charmed Fans!! Calling all Charmed Fans!! DH was reading our local newspaper's Trivia Q&A when what should he spy but the following question: Question: I think it's great that so many studios are releasing entire seasons of popular series on DVD, but I can't understand why "Charmed" - one of the most popular shows on The WB Network - continues to be treated like a poor stepchild. Do you have any information on when or if we will see "the charmed ones" on DVD? Answer: Consider the "poor stepchild" days just about over. Paramount Home Entertainment will release a set of the first-season adventures of the witchy Halliwell sisters (when Shannen Doherty was still one of them) on Feb. 1. DVD releases of more Spelling Television productions may be imminent; sibling company Paramount, also owned by Viacom, issued the first season of "7th Heaven" several months ago. Now, I'm not one to usually buy a series on DVD and thus far Monk is my only exception to the rule but that might have to change. Who's doing the happy Charmed DVD dance?! ![]() |
