Can somebody explain to me how she is still around?
Her perfomance last night at the Orange Bowl was HORRENDOUS.

She's obviously got a really good management team (including Dad). She should have stuck to the acting if she is that bad every time she performs music.

I have to say that I prefer her to her sister though. I think Jessica is a gorgeous woman, but there is no talent there either. Just listening to her Christmas album songs on the radio this year was painful.

The only time I've seen Ashlee 'sing' was at some Awards show right after the SNL fiasco. Granted, she can't sing, but her songs are upbeat and fun and that's what the pre-teen kids like.

Now, Jessica, I find myself entranced every time I see her sing b/c I think she's just AWFUL. The way she vibrates her voice and closes her eyes just bugs me. But that's just me. I know people like her, too.

We saw the tail end of her "performance". At best it was horrendous. DH couldn't believe how awful she was - he couldn't turn it off. It was like watching a train wreck only worse! Not to mention, she has no stage presence. I also think she looked better as a blonde. I was pretty sure I heard the crowd booing her - or was I hearing things?

Now I'm sure the poor thing is nice girl, but just stop pushing her at us!

I didn't see her but I heard she got booed. I feel kind of bad for her though - she's young and has, as someone else mentioned, a good management team who I think is just trying to make a buck on her after the success of her sister (who is beautiful, but who I hate watching sing!).

In regard to the Simpsons, I much prefer the Homer, Marge &amp; Bart versions to the Ashlee &amp; Jessica's. I think the first group has much more talent!! Doh!

I may be the only Jessica fan here (I know I know, I'm a nerd) but being a newlywed I watching the show simply b/c I do a lot of stupid things around here as well... And if I had a camera around me all the time that's probably all they'd show of me too
Anyways I was going somewhere with this.... OH yeah, someone said "coat-tail riding" I it! I can't stand Ashlee Simpson and for someone who sings about not wanting to be like her sister she is trying extremely hard to be the exact same thing!
