| How can you not know.... ...who Tom Jones is?!? One of our pilots had his i-Pod with him yesterday and was naming some of the artists he had in there. And my co-workers (who are 21 and 25) had never heard of Tom Jones!! Even when we played 'Pussycat' and 'It's not Unusual', they'd never heard those songs!  And they never watched the 'Fresh Prince' so they didn't know Tom Jones was Carlton's idol, either. Man, they made me feel old! And I'm only 30!         |

| Re: How can you not know.... I know this is gonna really male you feel old, but there are a lot of people who don't know who Tom Jones is... I was listening to some of his music the other day (outside) and half the neighborhood asked who that was, and when I told them they went "WHO???". Most of them are in their mid 20's to mid 30's... |

I went to see Smokey Robinson a few years ago (I won the tickets) and there was a woman I worked with (in her early 60's and I'm 36) who had never heard of him?!!! Smokey Robinson and the Miracles? What?? Tina, don't you love when Carlton dances around??    |

I had to sneak on at work to say - I brought my Tom Jones CD in here and introduced the uninitiated to the awesome TOM JONES!!!!!My Mom was a big fan and I am too. Didn't he sing one the James Bond movie themes? I think he did. Did you catch him in the movie "Mars Attacks"? TOM JONES ROCKS!!!  |
