The Agony of Defeat....well, first of the season

It TOTALLY bites that we lost today.....we looked really good in the first half but after Polamalu got hurt we went to pot.

Looked like we were gonna make a comeback there in the last few minutes of the game, and I got excited and turned the game back on (began to channel surf in my outrage) but once Ben threw the interception I knew that was it.

I know it's still early in the season and this year is a million times better than last....but I was SO hoping we could go undefeated!!

I don't think they even looked good in the first half. The only thing Pittsburgh had going for them was the long ball. I can live with a loss, just as long that it's not to a division team. At least the Buckeyes took care of business.

problem was I think Arizona was pumped for the game & wanted to "win one for Coach Wiz" while our guys came in over confident.. And ( this is just my opinion) Wisenhunt had to know some of our plays as he coached this same bunch for several years

I love how last week our local sportscasters had the Steelers winning another super bowl & last night they were jawing how they're going to have a hard time the rest of the season.. guess thats why I don't listen to sportscasters..

Fortunately, the loss didn't hurt our standings as Bill Cowhers AFC North champ team ( don't get me started on him!! ) , the Ravens lost to Cleveland & Cincinatti has a tough game tonight..

OOH Don't say that!! I am 25 minutes from Cleveland and a die-hard fan of the arch-rival Steelers. Cleveland teams stink so bad that around here, if they win ONE game they're heading to the SB!!

To use a college football expression, they have no quality wins. In typical Cleveland style, they lose to good opponents. The only thing that shocks me about the Clowns is why they haven't fired Romeo Crennel yet.

My thoughts precisely. I still don't think he will survive the end of the season-if he DOES, he'll most likely be fired shortly thereafter. I was hoping the Clowns would lose each game so Romeo would get fired; I know they've got a spanking coming playing the Pats this Sunday.

Just don't understand what's going thru Phil Savage's mind-when he was in such a hurry to trade the QB the way he did-ONE DAY after the loss shipping him out to Seattle-same needs to be done with Crennel.
