| High School sports Do you follow any High school sports?? & how are your teams doing? Me, I go to every home football game & most of the away ones.. mostly because my DS is in the band! Our team is AWFUL this year..3-5 I think! last night was a horrid showing & it got so bad my friend, Donna & I sat there talking about WDW & looking for people in the stands to make fun of & watching a pretty interesting argument between one of our players & a coach.. we thought it might turn into actual blows!! Both of my boys run cross country & both were involved in big invitational meets this weekend.. Brendan came in 7th in his meet & Jamie came in 187th  yes, that is one hundred eighty seven!!!) he said there were 20 schools participating. Jamie was also on the middle school basketball team & I hope he makes the 9th grade team this year.. he will also be on the track team. Hopefully he will do better in track than he did in XC... I think his broken ankle is still on his mind & running in the woods is scaring him that he'll re-injure it.. but after breaking all middle school records is XC he's doing worse this year Brendan is going to try out for MS basketball this year & he too is on the track team.. He throws an awesome discus.

| I follow our local HS (my alma mater) in all the sports. It's easy to do because I read our local weekly paper.  I don't get to go to many games or matches. I try to make it to one or two women's tennis and softball matches/games a year as I'm still close with the coaches. I have gone to most of the Homecoming football games since I've graduated, but it's always been to go with friends who had little sisters in the court --- I don't know anyone in there this year, so I doubt I'll go. Anyway, so our football team has only lost one game so far! They're doing really well, better than they have in a long time. Women's tennis is undefeated, of course!  We've won the state championship for the last 7 years in a row. I mean, keep in mind we're a 1-A school, but still, pretty good!

| Hampton High is doing well this year. Im a 100th year crabber (c/ 96). I havent actually been to a game since senior year, and oddly the stadium is just down the road. Seems the swim team did really well last year, YEAH!!!
