It seems like the Rockies have come from out of the nowhere! I fell asleep watching the game last night and woke up in the final inning to all that noise the Colorado fans were making, so I got to see the final out and the celebration to follow. I felt bad for the Phillies, but there was just no beating that team....they were on fire!

The D-Backs/Rockies series is certainly going to be one to watch!

I know just how you feel. I didn't really expect my beloved Cubbies to do anything post-season but it would've been nice if they could've won at least 1 game.

I have to shoot for the Rockies now though since the Diamondbacks pretty much beat us senseless. I think they've been added to the "teams a cub fan must hate for all time" list like the mets, marlins, cardinals....the list just keeps getting longer.

The networks broadcasting the games are not gonna get the ratings they were hoping for, that's for sure.

It does my heart good to see the networks and MLB won't get Yankee/Sox in the ALCS. Eventually, I hope someone in the Commissioner's office finally wakes up to the fact they need to level the playing field for all teams. Having one team that makes nearly a $BILLION$ per year in TV/Radio revenue(Yankees), while others make less than 1% of that(Devil Rays, Nationals, Pirates) IS NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

Also, starting games after most kids are asleep on weeknights isn't very smart either. Baseball has already lost one generation of fans. They can't afford to lose another.
