| What a game!! I think they ended in the 9th because they knew I really needed the sleep!   Great job Bay and Lowrie and everyone else of course!!!  I am soo happy the SOX won but I couldn't help but feel very sad for the Angels...all teary eyed thinking that their season is over thanks to the RED SOX AGIAIN! Oh well at least it is them being teary eyed and not me!

My dad grew up with the Brooklyn Dodgers!! When they left NY, he refused to root for ANY New York team. When he and my mom moved to Rhode Island in the early 60's, he latched onto the Red Sox and it was all over after that! He is, however, a member of a local Brooklyn Dodgers fan club and attends all of the meetings. My parents basement is lined with enlargements of autographed Brooklyn Dodgers black & white photographs. Not to mention his baseball room (Yes, he has a room  ) full of baseball memorabilia. He told me the other day he's going to start going through it and will be getting rid of most it, as there is just too much.
