We are going to the game on Thursday night and would appreciate any tips on getting to and from the Stadium from CT (coming down 95), where to park, best food, etc. I'm really looking forward to the game as I've never been there before!

Sara, I have been there many times and I always drive in. Go to the Yankees website and get their directions. When you get off the exit, there is a parking garage straight ahead. Try to get as close to the bottom levels as possible. As far as food there are some good deli's in the neighborhood around the stadium. As for the stadium itself, they have the usual fare, hot dogs, pizza, sausage grinders and hamburgers. There is also a mini deli somewhere near gate 8, and there is chinese food, which isn't that good. The food is very expensive, as well as the beer and soda. You can bring in your own food and water, in a clear bag. I suggest finding a deli around the stadium, if you have time. PM me if you have any more questions.

Yes, last year it was $12.00. Not sure what this year will be.

WOW! That's not bad at all! Fenway doesn't have a parking garage, so parking is limited and are all privately run. I think the least expensive parking I have seen near the park is around $40; you can only imagine what it is during playoff times. We opt to park for $3.75 at a T station, take the T for $3.60 round trip per person and then walk or take the free shuttle to the park.
