|  RIP - Jim McKay Jim McKay passed away of natural causes today - he was 86. I remember his sportscasts well, especially during the 1972 Olympics  One of my favorite shows growing up was Wide World of Sports. RIP

| He was truly a great and well traveled man (US Navy WWII vet and traveled 4 1/2 million miles over the course of Wide World of Sports). He was a big part of my Saturday morning/afternoon growing up.  RIP

| He will be missed. I've thought the recent Olympics have lacked something without him, but his coverage of the 1972 Olympics was so remarkable.
