| Countdown to the Olympics! I am so excited for the Olympics to start! I love watching both the summer and winter games.  I would have to say that my favorite summer event is diving. It is awe-inspiring to watch those high dives, especially for someone like me who has a fear of heights and can't swim!  So are you planning to watch the Olympics? If so, what is your favorite event?

| I love the summer Olympics. I too love to watch the diving. I also like swimming ,gymnastics, and the boating/rowing events. I can't wait to see the opening ceremonies this year.

| I'm really excited too. I'll be watching the athletics, swimming, diving, gymnastics and tennis and have got a week off work to watch all the action.

| I love the Olympics!! I'll watch anything that is on but I especially love the gymnastics, swimming and diving events. But my absolute favorite things to watch are the "human interest" segments on the athletes. I fall for every single hard luck sob story and then cheer like crazy when those athletes compete!

| I the Olympics. I always tear up at the opening and closing ceremonies.  I agree that the human interest stories are the best. I'll be spending too much time watching the tube once they start.
