| Do your kids play any sports? If you have children, are they involved in a sport through school or a rec program? Luke and Brooke will be first year soccer players in the fall and looking forward to it! Brooke also takes tap, jazz, ballet and Irish Step classes. They've both mentioned swimming lessons after soccer is over.

| DD 9 plays soccer and has since she was 5. Now she is a 4th grader and gets to start Rec volleyball. Dd12 plays Rec volleyball and is a middle school cheerleader, She is also in dance and gymnastics. DD 7 dances and is thinking of playing soccer this year, but can't make up her mind. Better hurry because the deadline is Aug. 27!! |

| DD's done soccer, t-ball and cheerleading a couple of times since she was 4 . . . we haven't been able to get her into anything recently, but are looking into either soccer or swimming this fall. She has already told me she wants to play softball in the spring . . . she has enough trouble getting coordinated enough to hit a ball on a tee that isn't moving . . . I can't imagine her playing softball where the ball is flying TOWARDS her. ![]()

| How fun! DD played various sports as she was growing up-soccer, basketball, and softball. I still kind of missing going to games and watching her and her friends as it was always a lot of fun.

| DDs both do Irish Dance (shocker, I know, considering the sig picture!) and both play soccer - DD7 on the rec team, DD10 on the travel team. I think it's so important to play a team sport - I know your kids are going to have a great time!

| We haven't done any team sports yet, DD doesn't show any interest in them... but she has been doing Gymnastics since she was 3, and is sticking with it now that school is starting. We've also started riding horses... which she loves, and has no fear of... so we might keep that in our schedule. I don't know when we'd have time for team sports... she'll be in full day kindy... and that alone will wear her out!! |

| DS15 is currently playing football for Lowndes County High School Vikings. (Nationally Ranked). Through the years he has also played soccer, baseball, and basketball. But football has been the love. He dreams of playing college ball and being a pre-med student. We will see what happens!

| We tried to get my oldest DS into scoccer when he was 4, all I can say is that he didn't like it very much. He likes to play basketball at home but does not want to join a team. I think his calling is art and music, he loves to draw and is excited about playing the clarinet this year in school. However my youngest DS is very active, I will try scoccer with him next year, I think he will be my sports player.

| It's hockey for us. My DS plays recreational outdoor roller hockey in the fall and spring, and travel ice hockey from fall through spring. My daughter is cheering this fall for the first time. She's 7, and really not interested in activities yet. I am so not looking forward to our family getting so busy with the start of the school year after labor day! Debbie |

| My kids played soccer, basketball,baseball/softball, and karate/tae kwon do. I really miss going to their games now that they're all grown up! I especially miss fall evenings watching soccer games - I learned the sport along with my kids (still have trouble with "off-sides"!). Also warm spring evenings at the softball field - perfect!

| My kids (2 and 4) both have swimming classes where they learn to swim with a dorsal ball and DD used to do dance class last year but she doesn't want to this year, so we are trying mini-soccer which is played inside and with no other rules that to run and catch the ball and enjoy playing with others or gymnastics with ribbon and ball and hoop!!! But I can't seems to find anthing for a 2 years old little boy except dance classes and I'm not sure he would like it!!!

| Dance classes it is at my place! DS(almost 12yrs) has this year been doing the same dance classes as DD9. All up 10 classes per week including the rep squad. DS2 doesn't do any sport or activities except swimming (they all do this). I refuse to take my kids to any activity that occurs on Saturday mornings each week. The older two played tennis and baseball but only for a few years before dancing grabbed their attention - LOL! Yes, they picked a really cheap activity - NOT! PS DD was chosen to dance at DL in 2010 - Mummy can't wait...

| My DS did play hockey but has now given it up for soccer. He plays indoor in the winter and community league in the spring. DDs both attend a performing arts school so have several dance classes a day as well as dance and pom teams in the evening...keeps us very busy and thankfully, keeps them out of trouble. ![]() |
