| ARod and Steroids How do you feel about this A-Rod revelation? I have to be honest, it sickens and surprises me. I don't know why i'm surprised though, as it seems everyone is dirty nowadays...

| No wonder he was able to knock that ball out of Arroyo's glove! ![]() Seriously though, I think the guy is his own worst enemy. He made a poor choice; a choice that will probably follow him for his entire career and beyond - possibly costing him induction into the HOF. Granted, it was before the regulations that were enacted in 2004, but he knew what he was doing. He's smart enough to know it was wrong and must be ashamed of his decision (as evidenced by his denial of the allegations in his interview with Katie Couric). That being said, at least he's acknowledged his wrongdoing, which is a heck of a lot more than what anyone can say about others who've been under the same scrutiny for years and will still not admit it!

| Not sure about the latest news. But I am sick of hearing about Barry Bonds and his trial. This has been going on for years. Enough allready.

| I can't say I'm surprised. I have thought that he was dirty for quite a while, but honestly never thought he'd actually come out and admit it . . . at least not until he was long retired. ![]()

| Warning: Rant Ahead - no offense intended and I apologize in advance if I do I'm not surprised. It seems as if every celebrity be it film, sports, or other is getting caught or admiting to illegal drug use, drinking and driving, etc. Quite frankly I'm disguisted and sick and tired of these people being built up in the media and the public eye until they've reached god status and are practically worshipped as such. Then they get caught or admit to doing something wrong and blame everyone but themselves for their bad choices while making pathetic and lame exuses for it and the general public stands by watching in shock while accepting said excuses and making up new one for them. Ugh. Give me a break. Rant over. |

| I'm not an ARod fan, but I had (naively, I guess) hoped that one athlete's numbers would turn out to be real. It's a sad day for the game and I truly love the game . Especially since he was so good anyway

| I'm not surprised at all What upsets me is that he will no doubt benefit off of his confessions even more - book deals, interviews, etc. Like revral posted, this seems to be the celebrity trend lately
