| This is a Great Story! I like to think that there are a lot of coaches and players out there like this, we just don't get to hear about all of them. When you have time to sit down for a couple of weeks I can tell you about some.

| My husband used to teach at DeKalb and we have many friends in the area, so I've heard quite a bit about this story. It really warms my heart how great both teams were given the situation. Both teams were honored by the Milwaukee Bucks during a recent game. They were allowed in the arena well before the game and given a chance to meet many of the NBA players. After the game they were even given a chance to shoot around on the floor. The amazing part of the story to me is that the DeKalb team (players and coaches) did not even mention what had happened during the game to anyone at the school. The principal only found out about this story when the coach from the other team sent her a fax thanking her for her players and coaches. He also sent a letter to the DeKalb newspaper. If he hadn't taken the steps to let the world know, it may have been kept a hidden little gem. Just imagine how many of these types of stories there must be that we just don't hear about!
