| Its a sad day for baseball fans in Detroit. The Bird was a fan favorite, who brought an electric feel to Tiger stadium when he pitched and even after he retired fans loved him for so many good memories. |

| Yes it is a sad day. we loved him here in Mass. He was one of our native sons and a decent and fun man.
