| All Star Game in STL Anyone coming for any of the events? Just curious. I've volunteered here and will be working the Fan Fest.

| We would have loved to have come and did think about it (my in-laws live in St. Charles) but we just got back from a 2 1/2 week long vacation AND DH just flew home to STL for his grandfather's funeral last week so we are tapped out in the travel money department. Even if we could afford to come "home" though . . . I am almost afraid to! With all the street/road closures just related to the All Star festivities as well as the President coming to town (which I am POSITIVE will shut down all traffic on 70 for a while) . . . it is liable to be a huge mess!  Hope you have a blast though!!! It does look like it will be lots of fun! One of these years, I just want to go to the Home Run Derby . . . I don't care where the All Star stuff is being held, I just want to see the Home Run Derby in person.  We're coming for Christmas instead . . . then we can see the craptasticness that is the St. Louis Rams attempt to not lose a game.

| How neat that you have family here! I live in St. Peters - so that's just next to St. Charles. My DH would love to see the Home Run Derby too! We'll probably just be sticking to the FanFest stuff and be taking the Metrolink (public transportation-light rail) so we don't have to fight with parking. Christmas will be fun here - you never know what you'll get with the weather.

| Former St. Louis resident here. Would love to be apart of it all  but too pricey. Years ago I worked downtown catty corner from Busch stadium during the I-70 World Series. Very exciting time!

| i was thinking about making the trip down, but yeah, too pricey for me right now.  some day i'll get to one.i don't think i've been so excited for an asg in a while! NL is takin' it this year!!!
