| I'm tempted to say, who cares, but I have a feeling he has the need to try and beat Green Bay~and that is with Minnesota.

| I live in Vikings country and I am soooo tired of this. We got it last season too. I really would like him to stay retired and coach HS football somewhere and let the Vikings work with the team they have instead of getting caught up in the will he/won't he game.

| Seriously!! But I voted that he'll show up. The Vikings don't lose much in the gamble...they'll get a lot of PR and hype -- especially with those Packer games you mentioned! I hope he does better than he has recently. I really think he wants one more good season before he calls it quits. Pulling on little memory here, but I think he did really well in the beginning with the Jets -- something like 8 wins out of what 11 or 12 games? And then his shoulder started acting up and it went downhill! Didn't he have surgry like 3-4 weeks ago? So he's not even done healing yet. I guess his signing will depend largely on that. He may just have to call it quits if he's not back in his game.

| I'm in Packer country and we are really sick of hearing about it! He did a great job while he was here and we were all sad to see him go but when you say you are retiring than do it and enough with the games that he is playing. He will be remembered as one of the best quarterbacks ever and I hope if he plays again he doesn't ruin that.

| Another Wisconsinite, and I vote - who cares!! We're sick of hearing about him. Retire, be a Viking, whatever. He's already lost respect, so it doesn't matter anymore!

| I voted "yes," and he'll break my heart just that much more when he does so. Although I'm born and raised in Illinois, Dad grew up in Wisconsin, so I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Packers' fan. I don't understand why Brett had to go and ruin everything the first time he couldn't make up his mind about whether or not he should stay retired. IMO, he just wants to come back to spite the Packers. What better way of doing that than signing with one of their big rivals and beating them when they play each other? It feels like a slap in the face to all of the fans who've loved and supported him throughout his entire Packers' career.

| Sorry guys, But I doubt this is over yet!! He seems like a guy who doesn't want to put all the work and practice in, but still wants to play on sunday when it's game time. Look for him in the news again soon, either right before the season starts or a few weeks in...
