| It's Official - Football!!! Oh, I am having so much fun!!! It's the official start of football! The Hall of Fame Game is on!!! It's the rumbling, stumbling stomp of football players! Heaven!Today's game: My Bills and the Titans.... Well, they don't look like the Titans, they're wearing their throwback uniforms for the Hall of Fame game! It's the NFL's way to pay tribute to the American Football League's 50th Anniversary Season. And since the Titans began as the Houston Oilers...that's their gear today! This Bills started as the Bills so their throwback uniform is recognizable! But right now, my Bills are losing! But does anyone remember who played in the greatest comback in NFL history? (The Titans are wearing Oiler gear! )And the Hall of Fame Class of 2009? Bob Hayes Randall McDaniel Bruce Smith Derrick Thomas Ralph Wilson Rod Woodson Has anyone visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH? ![]()

| I have not been to the HoF, but we've been looking at a trip to Canton someday as well as a trip to Cooperstown. I actually told DH that I absolutely WILL make a pilgrimage to Cooperstown sometime in the next few years. I HAVE to. ![]() Back to football though . . . it sure is odd not hearing John Madden mumbling oddities in the booth though. ![]()

It is so different from Cooperstown! We had gone to Cooperstown every summer when we lived in NY. Canton could learn a lot from Cooperstown! And John Maddon -- I'm so glad they did the cameo on him tonight. That was very

| Never been to a game at the HOF but it's only about 35 minutes south of me. Rod Woodson's speech was indescribable. A pin could have been heard dropping somewhere-that's how focused and interested everyone was in what he had to say!! |

Atleast the NFL gave Houston another team. It was tough without one for awhile. Quote:
