| US Open Are you watching? We have Direct TV so get the Tennis channel, which has a lot of coverage, and they also had five extra channels last weekend. Then with ESPN2 and CBS coverage, we've gotten to watch a lot of matches. I have to say, I am really liking Doubles play. I started watching those matches to see if we could find some tips for DD (who is mostly playing doubles with her high school team....after having played singles the last two years in middle school). And now I've found that I like them better than watching the top seeded singles games most of the time. So much more action. Fun! Oh and we were on the lookout for DD and my sister/BIL/niece on Monday....as they were at the Open then. Never saw them, since we had no idea when they'd be there and what they'd be wearing....but we tried. (Mostly scanned the crowds in the courtyard areas when they showed them).

Yes, I agree her opponent was great (and very humble)! Another great rising star!

| Del Potro was fantastic. I love, love, love Federer but Del Potro earned that win. He was on top of it. I was on the edge of my seat until the end.

| I'm so sad I missed the Men's Final (too many things going on with the kids schedules). Ugh! What a classic that was!

| Anyone see Serena's meltdown? Haven't heard whether there is any other fallout besides her $10,000 fine at this point. Anyone know anything else?

| Just the $10,000 fine at this point is all she's being penalized for! ![]()
