Ha! I live in Twins territory. Let's talk "not optimistic"
At least my Indians forced extra innings before they lost.
I feel bad the O's swept the Twins. I really like them and hope to see their stadium in 2013. We start a series against the Yankees tonight and with them being swept this past weekend I am nervous they are going to sweep us.

I am not optimistic about my O's but I am looking forward to our trips this summer where we will get to see a game in Cleveland, Detroit, and Philly. I want to visit as many ballparks as I can in my lifetime. Besides the O's so far I have seen the Nats, Red Sox, Jays, Padres, and Angels.
I would love to spend a summer touring all the ballparks, especially if the O's were the visiting team! Maybe when I retire... In the meantime, I'll be cheering them on at Camden Yard. Maybe I'll see you there, CynBeth!

I do have to say that even though we have suffered through many years of losing seasons that at least we have a nice ballpark. I usually get to about 4-6 games a year. What part of MD are you from?

We're from Howard County. We just bought the special 6 pack of games for the statue unveilings, so I know we're going to at least that many games! I can foresee another 1-2 as well.

I am in Baltimore County. April is a busy month for us so our first game of the year is Mother's Day. I am looking forward to seeing the changes to the stadium and toodles food choices.
Made the first trip to Citizens Bank Park for a Phils game this season. Let me say, if this was my first Phils game, it would be my last.
Let me explain, it was Kids Opening Day so there were a lot of kids at the game. However with the success that Phils have had in recent seasons, Phillies game have now become a place to be seen and a place to have "events." In our section, there were three bachelorette parties and two bachelor parties. The bachelorette parties were fine. They caused zero trouble. However, the bachelor parties were a problem. Lots of drinking, lots of swearing, lots of getting up to get more beer...a lot more drinking. It was so bad that security was in our section every inning.
We left after the seventh inning even though I felt like leaving after the third or fourth inning.
In the future, the Phils either need to go into the tank and be terrible for a couple of seasons to weed this type of "fan" out or I need to buy more expensive tickets to get away from these "fans."
