Surprised the Yanks even wanted him. His #'s have declined over the last 5 yrs & Seattle forced him out since they are rebuilding with a younger club. I'm not sure where Ichiro is going to fit in with Swisher returning this weekend.
Great move for the Yankees giving up nothing for Ichiro! I think he'll be energized by the pinstripes and be great in left field. Also gives Jones and Ibanez much needed rest.
