What can i tell you? I like these things......

Congratulations!! You have just been named the International Grand Poobah of All Things Disney. Your job (if you choose to accept it), is to identify a feature of WDW (i.e. attraction, show, restaurant, hotel, etc) that has "reached its expiration date" and needs to be replaced. Identify which item has outlived its usefulness AND what you are going to replace it with!

Example:

Remove: Tom Sawyer's Island
Add: Pirate Cove (basically an extensive re-theme, add POTC meet-n-greets, Pirate School, etc).

Remove: Stitch's Great Adventure (sorry -- i really hate it)
Add: Alien Encounter - The Next Generation

Replace with: An updated energy attraction - as much as I like Ellen, it's feeling a little tired these days.

I also find the Backlot Tour at the Studios to be rather lame. A totally disjointed attraction where you can no longer believe it's a "backlot" tour when they no longer do any production there. One of the neat things about MGM back in the day was that they produced actual shows and animation there.

Also, DH would kill me for this because he loves it, but I really think the Speedway in MK is totally lame. Like anything else I could do at a small amusement park back home. Can you imagine what kind of very cool attraction they could do with all that space???!!!

I was thinking the same thing~!~~ the "speedway" is a complete waste of space....yeah, it definitely needs to go!!

Add: refill the lagoon and bring back 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Remove: Skyway station in Fantasyland

Add:If there must be a Peter pan ride, Why not make it a more high tech thing like 'Soarin or something. That would deffinatly be more believable. Maybe 3D like Philharmagic.

Oh Jyl, say it isn't so! I think I'd throw myself down on the porch and kick and scream if that ever happened! The CBJ is THE reason I go to Magic Kingdom.

The speedway needs to go-that could make way for the return of Mr. Toad's Wild ride.

Buzz Lightyear needs to go and put it back to it's original-If You Had Wings.

I'm sure I'll think of more as the days go by.

Great question!
I would hate to choose what to remove, but I will share what I would add:

A Tarzan themed skate park near Ft. Wilderness / WL, or maybe where it is more accessible to locals.
MK: An Atlantis (Milo & company, not the resort) water / fight ride (in area of 20,000 Leagues). re-work Buzz into an 'Incredibles' theme. Bolt -- A Dog's Tail (in place of one of the dark rides). Re-theme the 'Speedway' to 'Cars'.
AK: PoC themed coaster.
DHS: Something with Pokemon (Disney / Miramax distributed) or a WallE remote controlled bot. Re-theme Indiana Jones to 'National Treasure'. Re-theme 'Sounds Dangerous' to Roger Rabbit vs. the Audience.
Epcot: Going Green -- How to beat Global Warming (and save money).
Meet the (Swiss Family) Robinson in the Future.
