I want to make my two kids some shirts for our upcomnig Disney trip. Does anyone know of a good place I can get some Disney iron-on transfers to put on T-shirts?
Joann fabrics has these huge iron on transfers--I've mickey, minnie, nemo and mcqueen, I'm sure there was a princess but I have two boys and wasn't paying attention. I think they are only like 7.99 or something like that and they are fuzzy too. They are like the cut out of the character, not a flat square, but totally cute.

DITTO for ours too! UGH! That is why I chanced it on ebay.
Here are some pics ( not great quality) of the shirts my girls did during Spring Break. The one with Perla is a compromise. I tried reasoning with my 6 year old that the hot pink transfer was not going to show up very well on the hot pink T, but to no avail. Oh well life is short
Ours is an outlet or something like that -it's huge but they shut down two stores in town and made this big store. It is my downfall--I never leave without getting something.
You can get a transfer paper that you can run through your inkjet printer (I don't think you can use a laser jet as it would get too hot and screw up the transfer paper) and put whatever you want on it to iron on your shirts.
Another option - use WonderUnder - if you don't know what this is, here you go...take a piece of fabric with a cool pic/emblem/etc, iron the WonderUnder on it. Cut out desired design. Peel off backing paper. Iron onto your shirt. All done! You can even use fabric paints or glitters to dress them up even more if you want. Several years ago I made a shirt/skirt set with tropical fish and seaweed all around the bottom of the shirt and skirt. As long as you follow the directions - they can take quite a beating. The paint will crack if you use too much, I recommend going light on the paint, but small dots or brush strokes work great.

I downloaded some JPeg images online and then printed them onto my own tranfers sheets that I purchased at Michael's Crafts. Last year we had a group of 7 so one day we were the 7 Dwarfs. Each shirt had a different dwarf with DISNEY 2007 above the image ang the name of the dwarf under the image. I willl try to post images later of some of the shirts I have made for Disney.

So Cool!!! I never thought about doing that! Pls post the pics. Would love to see!
Okay, so I don't have any pictures of the shirts without people but will put them here so you can see them anyway! I was unable to copy them on here so here are the links.
And the pictures aren't that great but you get the idea. If not and you want better up close pictures email me and I will see what I can. I think I may have one of the shirts here somewhere. If I do I will take a picture and post it.

Reason: pics didnt post
Cute and they looked more sophisticated than ones i would think of. I don't think my hubby would have a prob wearing one of those
The guys were the big issue in our shirt design too. Neither my dad or my uncle wanted to wear them. With doing them this way they were okay with it. I personally wanted to be the characters from The Hundred Acre Wood and Mickey's gang.... you see what we settled on. It worked and we will definitely be doing something similiar this year. However, it is just me, my 8 year old son, my mom, and my dad. Any suggestions on a Disney group of 4?? I think Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy would be neat.
Or your mom and dad could be the old fashion black and white mickey and minnie then you and your son the new mickey and minnie in color
Good thinking. Only one problem.... I can't allow anyone to wear Mickey except me. He's My Mouse. lol...
I do think I may go with this idea though. Thanks!
