I have seen several mentions about having gift baskets sent to people while staying at Disney. My DD graduates high school the day before we leave for Orlando, and will be joining the Army two months after we get back. I am thinking that a gift basket might be a great thing for her, but have no idea where to look. Help???
I also looked at Betsy's web site, and have had some email correspondence with her. She seems very reliable, and she did respond quickly and answered all of my questions.
I got 2 baskets (full of merchandise that probably totalled close to 150) for 126. That included delivery charge, taxes, everything. Betsy truly goes above and beyond.
Sure, you don't get a basket per se like with Diz Florist-but their stuff is cinchy, plastic cheap junk you can get much nicer. Betsy's things are high quality and she puts it into a box cut to size and she decorates it & color coordinates with things inside. Everything is then wrapped in clear cellophane-type material and tied with ribbons/bows and there's a hand-written message to your child from Mickey Mouse.
Here are pics of mine-DS' had the giant Stitch that sells for $50; Stitch was wearing personalized Mickey ears (you can't see them) and has a Stitch keychain around one of his "claws":
My son was just tickled pink because he ADORES Stitch and this giant one completes his collection-we have about every size of Stitch imaginable-from the newborn in a blankie to this big guy pictured!! He certainly made a nice pillow for the flight home!
DD's has a baby Belle who is wearing Princess Mickey Ears (also personalized). Belle is holding onto a Mickey coin purse and there's a couple other goodies in there:
We were VERY pleased and will always use Betsy for all our vacation needs. She's truly a wonderful, gifted woman!!
I love how she ties the cellophane with color-coordinated ribbon. As pictured my kids' birthdays were while we were down there and she will include ANY button (free or not) in your package-she builds it how you want it.
Wow Betsy's stuff looks great! We have used Disney Florist and have been very satisfied with them. Once I called them and they helped me create a basket for my DN and even wrote the card for me. It was very creative. My parents sent my DH a basket of spa products from the SS spa for our anniversary. They just called the spa and had them send it to our room. It was great to!
