MNSSHP

I hope that was the right acronym...

We are considering the Mickey Not So Scary party and wondered how it works? Is it a night that does not have EMH? How long is the event? Is it worth it? Do you get to see lots of characters? Like the 7 dwarfs?

Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks.

We saw tons of characters...including the 7 dwarfs. We got autographs with Cruella, Captain Hook, Jafar, The Queen of Hearts, and many others. It is a blast...and we felt it was worth the $$$. They do kick everyone out at 7 if they don't have a ticket. We were going to buy DD a Jasmine costume on the way out, and they wouldn't even let us spend our $$$!!

We've attended MNSSHP the last three years. IMHO, it's worth the extra money. Like others have said, you can enter the park w/your ticket at 4pm, but the official start is 7pm. That is when everyone without the party wristband is asked to leave the park. The party goes until midnight. There are two Boo to You parades, one Hallowishes (fireworks) over the Castle, and several Villains Mix and Mingle shows on the castle forecourt stage. Numerous characters are out that you might never see in the parks otherwise (i.e. Snow and the Seven Dwarfs, Prince Phillip & Aurora, Prince Charming & Cinderella, all of the villains after the show, etc.). The park is also decorated in beautiful fall colors.

It is definitely worth it! DD 7 and DS 10 loved it. My DH and I had a blast too. We totally missed toon town but we did not miss any of the parade or fireworks

We will go to this event again in the future.

I went last year and completely loved it As people have said the event officially starts at 7pm and the park stays open until midnight. There are a ton of characters out and they're all in costumes over their costumes. You also get to meet villains you normally wouldn't see except in the parades. I watched the parade both times cause it's just too fun and it's too cute to see all the little kids dressed up.

We love this party. We are going to not do any parks the day of the party so we can sleep in late, relax and nap through the day. Then we are going to the party and hopefully make it through the whole thing to the end!

We went last year for the first time. Absolutely one of the best experiences I've ever had at WDW!! Ordered my tickets, for this year, as soon as they went on sale.

We love it - there are lots of characters and the parade and fireworks are superb. It's our favourite party of the year.

We went for our first time last year and had a BLAST!!! While I took the little ones trick or treating the big kids got on all the rides. Fireworks and the parades were great as well. We got to see sooo many characters you normally would not see as well as the normal. Some of the characters we did see Baloo,Jane,Turk, mad hatter, Tweedle Dee and Dum, Cards, Snow White with ALL 7 Dwarves, all the villians, the princes with the princesses etc. The lighting of main st and all the decorations make this xperience even more magical. Make sure to really look around and you will see ghosts and spiderwebs on the walkways and definately if you do purchase ride Thunder Mountain at night. Its really cool. Enjoy. We are going again in 2011 and cannot wait.

We went last year for the first time and LOVED IT. It's absolutely my favorite parade. We're actually going to MNSSHP twice on this upcoming trip because we had such a great time.

It's not that we didn't have a great time, but my kids were 5 & 7 last year (no strollers), and even with a good nap in the afternoon, they were done by Hallowishes. So we definitely didn't get our money's worth. It was more crowded than I thought it would be (late September), and to my slight disappointment, the kids got hooked on trick-or-treating (what were we going to do with 5 pounds of candy in the hotel room - take it home on the plane? I don't think so!). The Boo to You Parade was fantastic, the fireworks were fantastic, but I'll definitely wait until my kids can make it 'til midnight before I do it again.

I loved MNSSHP! I didn't bother doing MVMCP last year when we went because we didn't feel it was worth the extra money but we will be doin the MNSSHP when we go this Oct. As the poster above mentioned on the party day its a good idea to sleep in spend the day at your resort get dressed and go over to the MK for the 4pm opening.

I loved MNSSHP. We've done it twice and feel it is well worth the money. If you do it don't miss the first parade. That one had the headless horseman start it off. It is really cool. The fireworks are also really awesome!!

MNSSHP is my FAVORITE thing at WDW!!! It is definitely worth the money and so much fun. Best parade ever, IMO. Also, don't forget to dress up (adults too!!!!)...that makes it even better.
