Has anyone done this and is it worth the money? I imagine the dessert is fairly standard fair but I was wondering if the view was as good as standing in front of the castle?
Also, we are going down the last week of August. We would like to try some different things this trip. You know, the things you might usually miss because you are focused on the parks and the rides. I am open to ideas on those little things that one might overlook. I am also interested in things that will get us out of the heat and sun during the middle of the day but outside in the evening. I am traveling with DH 50 (actually turning 51 on the trip), DD (16) DS (12) and nephew (14).
I've booked it for Aug. 21st. Someone told me the view is just fine, and there's enough standing room for everyone by the railing. If Spectromagic is shown, you may be able to see it as well, but keep in mind it would be maybe half of the float, and probably not see what's down on the street such as the entertainers who are on foot. The link provided above shows some pics of it as well.
