Does anyone have any info on the new pressed dimes at WDW?
I saw on another site that there are now pressed dime machines at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. location. I was wondering what coins we need to do this (obviously a dime, but what else)? They listed four of these in the machine. Has anyone seen the dime machines anywhere else?
Thanks so much
The only dime machine I've seen was in Hannibal MO. It was 50 cents plus a dime. That assumes the machines are standardized, which they seem to be. DD collects pressed pennies on all our vacations and it's very rare to find one that charges more than 50 cents.
Ack, That is way too expensive now. How can they charge so much for something that just sits there and you do all the work cranking it. Especially when it is damaging government property.

OT -- It's actually Treason for Canadians if we use a Canadian penny! Defacing the Queen... Any pressed penny machine I've seen in Canada always instructs you to use an American penny. Guess they don't want to have to send the Mounties out after us.
Ok. Back to your regularly scheduled actual question.... I had no idea there were pressed dime machines. Cool! I wonder if they have them anywhere else (like DLR)?
The listing I saw (on Presscoins.com) said they were at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Machine #2. There's: Mickey in Spce Mountain in background, Space Mtn. logo, MK logo
Astronauts Minnie & Daisy doing a space above Space Mtn., Space Mtn. logo, MK logo
Space Mtn. logo, Tomorrowland logo, MK logo
Space Mtn., Donald Duck riding rocket ship, Space Mtn. logo, "Established 1975"
The images at pennycollector.com show a machine marked 85 cents -- which would be 75 cents plus the dime. It says there are 10 designs available in MK.
