Hello....anyone, anything. I know Brad's site talks about the Disney emails, but we all know how quick they are to change things. So are people still getting the pre-arrival savings via email or has that stopped?

We check in next Monday, and I only just got the email yesterday...
We usually travel DVC, so I wasn't sure when this would happen, but it was at like 10 days out; I thought it would've been earlier than that.

According to Disney's PhotoPass - April 2010, you should get one about 10 days out.

Yes, you should get it or if booked through a TA they will send it to you

Ours came well before the 10 day mark. More like 45. And the email was vague -- it didn't mention a discount, only a photopass promo. Only after you clicked the link for more info did you see there was a preorder discount.

Yes I too was getting nervous after having read all the info on watching the emails and I never got one. Then about a month ago I was on the Photopass website and read that they were now sending them closer to departure. We leave 4/14 and I got mine on 4/5 or 4/6. Now I have a question....can you go to a photopass place and download your personal pictures? I thought I read that but would like to hear from someone that has experienced it?!?!?

Does anyone know if with this discount can you get the personalized card?? I assume everything needs to be paid upfront, but I don't know if you get the email 10 days prior if that is enough time for the personalized card.

I booked through a TA and never recieved the promo email, my TA was going back and forth with photopass, they finally gave her a code for me to use.
Now after all that i looked through my pics and decided to do the photobook over the cd..........plus I can add some of my own pics as well to the photobook, which reminds me my PP pics expire this wed. I better get moving!

I've also read they are sending the emails around 10 days out. I can't wait.

I got my Disney documents in the mail the other day. Inside was a card that said you had to register your photopass number (which was on the card) BEFORE you made your trip. It read "register this card now to save big later." Then it reads at the bottom, "We'll send you special offers via email during and after your vacation!"

I'm assuming that I will get a discount offer either during my trip or after, instead of before the trip, like they used to do it. I know that on my last trip they sent emails out before my trip offering discounts and I gave them to other people. Maybe Disney got wind of this kind of activity and changed their procedure. My trip is in 2 1/2 weeks, so if I see something come through, I'll let you know.
