Last year, we stayed at POR and DD(then 6) did the Bayou Pirate Cruise and LOVED it! I was planning to sign her up for the GF one this year, but we are staying at the SSR and I don't know how much of a hassle it would be trying to get to the GF by 9:00 am without a car.
Therefore, I was thinking about the Tea in Wonderland because it doesn't start until 2:00 in the afternoon which will be a nice break from the heat of the parks and an easy hop from MK or Epcot. It doesn't seem as "girly" (if you know what I mean) as the Princess tea party, but I was wondering if it might be too "young" for a 7 year old only child. It sounds like fun to me, so I was just wondering if any of your children have been, how old they were, and if they liked it?

DD was 5, just shy of 6. As I recall she was one of the older kids there.
But she LOVED it.
I think if your DD is an Alice fan, go for it even at 7. If it's just for something to do, maybe not.
I would really like to hear about any other personal experiences.
I saw some pictures online from a couple of years ago and the children seemed older maybe 8-10 or so, therefore I just don't know.
I am so confused!

My DD's went last time and they were 5 and 7. They had a lot of fun and said they really liked the Mad Hatter. They played games, got a mug that they colored an Alice in Wonderland picture and put inside it. I know they decorated cupcakes (egg free in the case of DD(6), then 5!) Had apple juice "tea" which DD(8), then 7 was upset about since we drink various teas at home. They did a parade around the GF which was funny. I was in the tea room having tea myself when all of a sudden the Mad Hatter was yelling "Alice, where are you? Alice?!, Alice?!" (He was at the front of the line, kids in the middle and Alice at the end). The servers were telling the other patrons, oh that is just the Mad Hatter having his tea party. They did a picture too, with Alice and the Mad Hatter and Autographs. You also get carnations too. Hope this helps decide.
