I did this tour in June of 09 with my DD and my dear friend, Disneydani and her DD. We had a blast and also were the only ones on the tour.
It is a very fun tour. Basically, you are on a quest to save the Magic Kingdom from Captain Hook and read clues from a big treasure map that will help you on your mission. I don't want to give anything away, but your group will do some silly things along the way. It is all in good fun and I think the tour is perfect for the younger set and the young at heart.
There is a bit of walking on the tour as you cover most of the MK. I found it interesting that after all my visits to the MK, our quest led us to things I never really noticed before.

My DS was 8 when we did it & he loved it. Actually we all enjoyed it. It's really the best tour for kids. It's short enough to keep their attention. We want to do some of the big tours when he is old enough, ut they have to be 16 for most of them.
Another thumbs up for this tour! My girls were 4 and almost 7 and had so much fun, although it was a lot of walking for the 4yo). They loved it so much they wanted to do it again so last year we did - along with their 5yo cousin and my sister (his mom); the girls were 8 and almost 11 at the time. Anther great experience! I highly recommend it

My kids were younger (I think about 6 and 11 for the youngest 2) when we did it. The kids had a blast, as did the rest of us. DH and a family friend (22 yrs. old) had the most fun!!
You learn lots of cool things to look for that most people (including myself) miss.
We did this last summer when DS was 8, and we ALL loved it!! It is a great time, especially if the adults get into the games too. We had a great group for our tour...only one party pooper that didn't want to participate.
We loved this tour! My girls still talk about it! I think it cost about $25.00. Definately worth every penny!!!!!! There are many magical moments and I won't ruin the surprise but it is so worth it!!!!!
If your group is in the early teens (too young for the backstage stuff but too old for the Family Magic) I recommend Mickey's Magical Milestones.
DH, DD and I did it when DD was"almost 10" and it was perfect.

This trip it with be DH, myself and DS, 14 & 17. Which tour do you think would suit best?

14 and 17 -- I'd do Magical Milestones. We chose it over Family Magic because we thought FM was iffy for our 9 year old.
There are threads around here somewhere that discuss MMM in detail -- I don't want to hijack this thread.
