It has been a eventful week, and it's not over yet.
Last Thursday, Hung out at the Mk, and got a tour around the character room, with my sister who flew in to do her 150 seasonal hours over the next 3 weeks.
Friday, visited my sister at the mk for lunch, and finished Epcot's kim impossible missions, bought my Duffy bear and his pirate outfit
Saturday, work went along like usual., ended the day at Epcot again, because I wanted to get Duffy's sailor outfit, and his lederhosen.
Sunday, I received my Ears at long last!
the rest of the week has been pleasant compared to what i've been through in the recent weeks thursday, I probably will get more Duffy outfits and get groceries, Friday, DHS with my sister, ending with
HP7 p2 as the wrap up to my weekend.
I know that it seems childish to have a Duffy bear for myself, but he's just cute, and I like most of his outfits!
Hooray for earning your ears!!! And EVERYONE needs a Duffy and his outfits. He's awesome. I'm glad you are having fun with your sister, sounds like a great week.
So glad you got your ears. And I have 8 Disney Mr. Potato Heads on my shelf in my office. I change out their outfits periodically. You're never too old to play.
My daughter and I both have Duffy! Although we call hers Du-Fay because she says he is French! We don't have any outfits because we couldn't decide and we wanted to leave something for next trip!

Over the past few weeks, my sister came in for three weeks to do her seasonal time. After work, I tended to pop into MK to visit her at the character room got a tour, saw all the cool things that Mickey and his friends are going to wear at Halloween and Christmas I also hung out at the parks with her. did the Duffy fan stamp thing twice, and the Kim impossible missions. We also visited DHS to ride Star Tours once. We also watched Harry Potter at the dine in theater. They had pretty good food, but lots of carbs.. Pasta, pizzeria style flat breads, breaded food.. ugh. not something I want to eat during a hot summer day.
With her around I had fun, but the downer was that I felt absolutely exhausted almost every day. my bank account also depleted rather quickly because of all the eating out we've done so, right now I'm cowering in a "eat what I have, then eat only ramen until my account has more money" mode.
She'll be back in November or just before I'm scheduled to move out IF I can't get a extension. Application time is coming up soon. omg.
Now she's gone, I feel a lil lonely. and at a loss for something to do.
Did you ever get a new roommate, or are you alone in your unit? I can see that taking the time to spend with your sister was important to you and I'm glad you had the chance. But, I'm wondering if you are missing out on meeting and doing things with other program participants. You sound lonely. You need to find a way to get involved with other people when you aren't working.
the past few days has been awesome. So far, this week has been the longest week and the most hours worked, but it's all good I get one day off on Friday, and I'm planning to spend that day at a park, or cowering as Irene passes by :P experienced cool magical moments for CMs, only, yesterday the General Manager and his team dressed up in football uniforms, and walked around passing out nutrasweet bars, and taking pictures. Another happened today, but this time, they were wearing hippie clothing, and saying peace, groovy, passing out rice krispies with the peace sign made out of sprinkles on frosting. they wanted to take like 3 pictures with me. i'm guessing for eyes and ears, and the CM bulletin board.
today during work, I saw a lady with auburn hair, dark orange T shirt with a small stitch picture on the label, and a big picture on the back. she were wearing a PP pouch. I said hello to her, but had to keep working. A few minutes after she walked away, I saw a boy in his early tweens that looked like Loobxylips's son Jayden from her pictures. I'm guessing that I bumped into her while she were cleaning her mug and refilling it. It was nice to see a PP even if I'm not sure of her name!
