My BFF and I are taking our DD's (age 7 and 5) on a girls only trip I thought this might be the perfect time to take the girls to the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the GF. After some research looking at a lot of websites and even referencing my passporter, I still can't figure out the pricing. The passporter lists the price at $281.25, is that for the "princess" and a parent? Also, since we're going as a group can we get the discounted price for my friend and her DD? ANY help would be appreciated!! I would love to hear any reviews from those who have done it too

I have done this twice. Once with each of my two daughters. While it is very pricey, I felt it was well worth it! It was just a beautiful presentation. Special attention to the kids. Aurora sat down with us and visited with my girls both times. I think I have a bunch of pictures in my 2009 trip report (link on my signature below) if you are interested. I know there's at least a review. Meal wise, I wouldn't really call it lunch, more like a snack. The cake is fantastic though. Both my girls still play with their doll and have their charm bracelet that they get a new charm for each time we do a Disney trip.
Have a great time!!!
I am thinking of doing this with my 7 y/o. I know the cost is high and we are not going til Sept. so lots of time to save up. I wanted to do it last time but she was only 5 and now I'm glad I didn't. Everyone says the same thing, that is so worth the money so I think I am going to do it!!! Do you have to pay for it now?
I was going to take her to The American Girl store in the city for tea but she is really not that into it so thats a savings of $100 right there! I figured in train fare, and purchases and thats probably underestimating. So I am going to take that $ and start my envelope!!!!
Any feedback to "really" convince me would be helpful!!!
Thank you!
We did it a few years ago, my daughter was four at the time. It was great and definitely worth the cost. My daughter is now nine and still remembers the experience and has the doll proudly displayed in her bedroom. We would do it again if it was done with a different princess. I think it is appropriate for a wide age range, but if I were doing it again, I may wait until my daughter was a bit older to get even more out of the experience.
I took my daughter when she was 7. We both Loved it! The doll has seen better days ( it got a lot of use) but we have many wonderful memories. She still has the charm bracelet and we have added charms to it on other visits to WDW. I have a beautiful photo of her with her doll at the tea party sitting on my desk at work. I would highly recommend the Princess Tea Party.
Now that she is 11 we love to go to the afternoon tea at the GF. Its actually one of our favorite mother/daughter things to do at WDW.
