I did that move thing in July, over 'vacation', and boy was I ready to go back to work! The time went by way too fast, and there were still things to be done for 2 months after. Oh well, it will all get done in time.
Park s for you!

Thanks for the pixies for this morning's meet & greet! I got an extra burst of energy and perkiness from them and it really helped me get through it. I think it went well and should hear something back next week about whether or not I will remain on the list. I had a good meeting with my boss before the M&G, too, that went well. I'm certainly ready for my weekend, though!
My new range arrived today. They didn't install it correctly, but I have to wait for the granite guy to come do his last bit, then I can figure out what to do. It's a slide-in range and they acted like they didn't know what to do, so made it at least 1/2" too high. It's always something.
I hammered some nails into my bedroom walls today to start making it feel like MY room. I like how it's coming along, but certainly not photo-ready yet. I got the dining table put together w/ 16yo's very helpful help. We still have the dining chairs to do, but I have to wait until next week when I get a chance to go to Ikea for the right covers. We are a bit tired of brown everywhere, so we decided to spice things up with RED!
We are going to MVMCP tomorrow night for my birthday gift (which is Friday). I'm hoping to stop by DAKL and check out the Christmas tree after the party. I've never watched the decorations go up and I think that would be a fun way to end the party/start my b-day.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is just a week away. Where did this year go??? My mind is blown thinking about how blessed we are and how much we have to be thankful for this year. It's overwhelming sometimes.
