How cool is it that when I go to a meeting at work I get to walk under the Avengers monorail to get there? And have Space Mountain in front of me when I walk back out? Have I mentioned that I simply adore working at this place and am SO. VERY. BLESSED???

We had a meeting at the Contemporary today and it was awesome. I love getting to hear Walt's voice and see his vision re-imagined over and over again. I love being reminded that no matter where we work or what we do, we are all an important part of The Magic.

I also think it's pretty nifty that I get to see Spaceship Earth and Test Track when we go to the doctor's office. Not that it's a fun thing, but it makes it a wee bit easier. I had to go on Monday as I had a migraine kick in. Haven't had one of those in years and this one was a doozy. I had to have a shot and then put on a prescription. Gettin' old.

I'm taking 16yo to the doc today just to begin with a primary care. I've been so accustomed to going straight to the specialists, but the endocrinologist recommended this last time that we find a central point of contact for all of them, since we are adding the nephrologist to the mix. After that, we are going to have some fun checking out the Osborne lights at DHS for the evening.

We are going to be Guests tomorrow night at Candlelight. I haven't done that in 3 years, so it will be fun to watch Neil Patrick Harris from the audience.

BTW, my current Candlelight schedule is:
12/6: 6:45/8:15
12/9: 5pm
12/13: 6:45/8:15
12/20: 6:45/8:15

Our new home is simply wonderful. We are pretty much settled in (except for the scrapbook room), but I still find myself looking around in disbelief that it's really our house (and I did already make the mortgage payment )
